The insurer’s existing IT environment was fragmented and inflexible. It limited the ability to react quickly to market shifts or strategic decisions. The new solution aimed to simplify the sales process, improve conversion, and give the business full control over product development and delivery.

Project execution process
The project began by identifying key priorities. These included multi-offer capabilities, automation of sales processes, shorter product rollout times and support for co-insurance models.

Scope and delivery model
Altkom Software delivered a central insurance sales system using Altkom Insurance Suite. This platform replaced scattered and inefficient tools and unified sales processes across the organisation.
The solution simplified the quote and policy issuance process and enabled the generation of multiple offers simultaneously. It also introduced support for co-insurance products, which the previous system did not allow. Minimal data entry and intuitive workflows reduced the time to finalise a policy to just minutes, directly improving conversion rates.
The first product launched within the new system was a motor insurance comparison tool. Over time, the system was extended to agricultural, group life, property, accident and simple P&C products. These were configured independently by the insurer or with support from Altkom.
