PROJECT

Genesis and business expectations

Crédit Agricole Insurance approached Altkom Software with a clear goal: to quickly launch a new digital sales channel for travel insurance. The solution had to operate independently from existing core systems, while being fully integrated with online payments.

The aim was to enter a new market segment before the summer holiday season, with minimal risk and without costly IT involvement.

Like many established insurance providers, Crédit Agricole Insurance operates within a tightly integrated product and sales environment. Changes to distribution channels often require significant time and investment. A flexible, low-risk solution was needed to quickly validate a new business direction.

We started by analysing the client’s business needs and system limitations. Together, we defined the portal’s functionality, integration requirements, and visual design based on brand guidelines.

SOLUTION

Scope and delivery model

Altkom Software delivered a digital insurance sales platform tailored to Crédit Agricole Insurance’s needs, built on the flexible architecture of Altkom Insurance Suite.

The new sales channel was designed as a public online portal, accessible to all users, including non-customers. The purchase process was reduced to just a few intuitive steps, ensuring speed, convenience, and a high conversion rate.

Thanks to the use of prebuilt AIS modules, the implementation timeline was significantly reduced, and a scalable environment was established to support further development. Product and pricing configuration is now fully managed by business teams, enabling rapid testing and independent rollout of new offerings, without the need for IT involvement.

The direct sales platform became a powerful new acquisition channel, supporting marketing initiatives and meeting the expectations of modern consumers who value speed, ease of use, and full online accessibility.
